I am trying to put a gpu in my PC. It is an acer aspire with a i7-4790k i think. I am not sure if my motherboard can even fit a Gpu or if my power supply can handle on but here are some photos of the power supply and motherboard. Can someone please help me.

Solution
The motherboard is fine for a gpu, the psu not so much.
Its 300w and is nearly 6 years old.

It could run a low power gpu but it depends what your plans are.??

What's your budget upgrade, what are your expectations.
I will say because of that usb 3 plug being close to the GPU slot you do need to look at fairly short cards, possibly single fan models so you're not going to get anything really high powered performance wise in there.

It is standard atx so can be replaced fairly easily.

A 1030 would drop straight in no issue, even with that psu.

You want a short form card not a low profile one though in particular.
That usb 3 connector looks like it would interfere with anything that's substantially longer than the GPU slot.

What country are you in? What's your budget?

What's your actual acer model??

Its looks like a standard width case not a small form factor one.

I've just notuced that front audio cable bottom left of the board.

That will be a tight fit, you may have to unplug that for a gpu to fit.

I don't see that as an issue as you have headphone and mic sockets on the back of the case too but you may.

It may fit without removing it but just thought I'd warn you.
