He wants a quick reply? Guess I'm too late now. Never mind.

Why do people write "Quick reply please"? I don't know about the rest
of you, but my PC isn't configured to drop everything and switch to
this NG as soon as a post with those words is created.

I was fast asleep when his post came thru, but I leapt from my hammock like
a twit unleashed, dived for my keyboard, hit my head on the shelf above my
monitor and collapsed in a bloody heap, muttering "alt.games.cou.... urgle"

That'll learn me to be keen.

Well, a typical response to someone who obviously can't be bothered to
use Google or check on any of the websites devoted to CS, and then has
the cheek to as for a fast response.

I had another fast response in mind, but Dan's a bit more polite...

Where does it say he wanted a quick reply?
He was asking for somebody called Wuick to reply, not all you
interfering do-gooders, so pick everything back up, get back to your
hammocks and leave the poor lad alone.
Anyways, perhaps it's something that ought to go in that bloody useless FAQ?
