I've got a really ambitious question in my mind and I would like to know the answer.
Do you guys know if you change your internet card or lan card where you plug the internet cable, could your IP adress change ?

All you need to do is reset your IP is to reset your router.

If your pc is behind a router, then only local IP address would change. Public address would not change.

Let me guess, you are being DOS'ed or you think you are of some sorts and you would like to change your public IP wo paying for one.

Answer: Maybe. The ISP's DHCP like our own DHCP notices your MAC, and tend to re-assign you the same IP, a new MAC may just be enough to "confuse" the ISP DHCP to assign you another IP. But the long term solution is to PAY for a static IP.
