So, I have this problem, I have a i3 7100 and an MSI b150 motherboard. The [strike]mbu[/strike] mobo does not support the latest generation of Intel proccesors. So my question is this, is there any way to upgrade the bios without it having power, cpu etc.?

Solution
You can contact MSI and see if they can send you a new BIOS chip, buy the cheapest processor that the board supports with the first BIOS version, or try a PC shop and see if they can do it. (if they have a processor around that is supported)
Other than that the motherboard must be able to post to update the BIOS.
