Hello all.

What do ya'll think of the Zotac and Gigabyte brands for gpu's?

Is there a big difference in the 3060ti
Gigabyte 3060 elite oc 12gb
Asus tuf 3060 V2 oc 12gb
Zotac 3060 oc 12gb
EVGA 3060 xc gaming 12gb
or maybe just an rx 6700 xt

going with a 12700k and a prime z690-a mobo

A 3060 Ti has a ~20% advantage over a 3060. So unless the 3060s are overclocked the snot out of, they're not going to touch the 3060 Ti. The RX 6700 XT performs slightly better (~5-10%) than the 3060 Ti.

If you're wondering about the difference between the AIBs, it usually boils down to customer service and warranty. I personally like EVGA.

Ive been using nvidia for a long time now. have been using my 2060 since launch. Have not really been keeping track of amd and the rx series. So you mentioned its a bit faster than the 3060ti. is it just as reliable? Sucks that they are overpriced right now. but it is cheaper than the ti. thx

found some good gpu prices on newegg. you think they can be trusted after the gamer nexus crap?

i know the sweet spot is 8gb. most of the ti's have 8 and the non ti's have 12. ? thx

Whether or not AMD cards are just as reliable as NVIDIA's is anyone's guess.

I stopped trusting them when they got bought out by an investment firm.

All 3060 Ti's have 8GB and all regular 3060's have 12GB. Unless you're trying to make everything a 16K texture, VRAM size is nothing to worry about.
