Is there a way to check the SNR margin from somewhere other than the router interface?

Are you referring to wireless SNR? If you need to check it from the router side and you have a compatible router, you would need to install third-party firmware like DD-WRT that does display SNR.

From the client side and depending on the OS, you can use a wifi analysis application.

I'm talking about the DSL SNR.

The DSL SNR would be found on the modem, not the router. If you provide the make and model of the modem, someone may be able to help if you need further assistance.
