Is there a way to Factory Reset an acer PC on Windows 7 when eRecovery Is Missing?

So i got infected with a virus, and it deleted eRecovery, and i have tried everything to restore it, but i cant manage to re install it. Is there a free program on Windows 7 where i can Factory Reset my PC without using the eRecovery? All responses are appreciated

1. thinking you dealt with virus before asking the question, then I would suggest calling acer and asking for help it may be you have other solution to the problem they are aware we will not be.

The 'free program' existed when you first bought the system.
There was a recovery partition, and associated function, that allowed you to create your own Factory Recovery DVD set.
(yes, this did exist)

Since you didn't do that, and that partition is now hosed....your only recourse is to call Acer and buy that DVD set from them.

IF your PC has a windows key sticker on it still you can download an OEM copy of Windows, burn it to a disk, and then install it and then activate it using your key.

I have used Dell OEM windows 7 install disk on other PC's and successfully activated using the key on their PC. If you need an ISO I can give you a link to a Dell OEM ISO. just tell me what version of windows 7 it is.
