I recently used a program that was recommended to me by a friend it is called Driver Booster 6. It recommended that I update some of my drivers and because of the praise my friend gave the program I didn't question it and clicked update all i then let it do its job and when it was complete I restarted my computer. I then went on good for a bit as i have both an ssd and hard drive I did not notice it right away but it had uninitialised my hard drive and converted it into a Raid 0 when I went into disk management it was not able to be initialised and i was saying that it was empty and that the capacity had roughly doubled from what it was supposed to be, from 750 GB to 1.4 TB. The hard drive is a seagate barracuda ST3750640AS.

I am presuming you were using some sort of software RAID on your computer which Driver Booster "up-set".

At this stage, don't try to dig too deep. Try the simple stuff first.

Have you tried System Restore?
