Is there a way to fix the part that powers the GPU fan?

Hi! I have an old GPU (GT210) which has a gpu fan power problem. At first I thought the fan itself was dead so I tried replacing the fan, it was then that I realized the GPU itself does not supply power to the fan anymore so I believe that there must be something wrong with whatever part that supplies power to the fan on the GPU. The GPU still works and I'm really willing to fix it. I need professional help. Can somebody please tell me if there's still a way to fix it or a good alternative to power up the fan?
Thanks!

You could easily swap the coolers.
Just remember to put new thermal paste on it.
You could get Arctic Silver 5 for around $10 or less. Should last a year.

Depending on where you are, you could find a passively cooled GT210 for cheap(like $10). You could replace the heatsink on your current card, or use that card instead. The card works fine with passive cooling as well; I have used one myself.

As for the repair, it's impossible to say like this. Need atleast a picture of the PCB to see if any problem is there.

Yes, everything works fine. I'm also sure it is not the PSU.

OMG! Yes, that sounds like a very good idea and timely since my GF's neighbor's gt210 silent edition just ceased functioning a week ago. Why didn't I think about this? I'll see if I can ask them for it, then I'll figure out if it would be easy to swap the coolers. If in any case I find it difficult or impossible I'll try to post the picture of the GPU board here, instead.
