Is there a way to get Folders onto the Quick Launch Toolbar?

I hassled with this when I first bought my Dell Vostro last spring. I asked Dell, (since I paid for Pro Support anyways) and there seemed to be no clean, easy way to add a quick launch icon for a for a couple folders I use all the time. XP is simple. Any icon on my desktop can be dragged to the QLT. Why the hell did Windows 7 take this simple, important functionality away, or is there a trick to doing it?
