I have a Gigabyte X670 Elite AX mobo on BIOS version F9a and a 7800X3D CPU.

I just noticed today that my BIOS is no longer on the download page, and instead there is a F10a BIOS with AGESA 1.0.0.7a.

So now I have no idea what AGESA I even have. CPUZ and HWINFO can't read it or tell me. I don't think

The rig has been running stable and the VSOC appears stuck at 1.245 inside HWINFO and other places (it doesnt look like you can even change it in the BIOS anymore).

But if the new AGESA is more stable or safe, I might consider upgrading to it. But at the same time, my rig seems to be stable. I can get 6000 mhz on my DDR 5 kit and no crashes, nothing. Temps seem fine too.

Should I just update to the newest BIOS or just stay on F9a?

If BIOS version F9a has the 1.30 Vsoc "fix" your X3D should be protected from overvoltage.

If the F10a is a Beta, you could wait for the next stable version.

If F10a is a "normal" BIOS, I'd be inclined to update.

The X3D range is more likely to go bang.

I update my 7950X with new stable BIOS releases when I spot them on the web site.

Read the list of bug fixes on the BIOS download page.
