As the Title says ^

I'm running a heavily modified version of Skyrim (60 or so mods) With high res textures and an ENB (Lighting overhaul which makes the whole game look more realistic which is the most resource intensive part)

My GPU: EVGA GTX 780

My GPU is running at 90%-99% Load with the mods.

What bothers me is that I don't want to stress my GPU so much, and make it run hot... its reaching to 69-72c And I like to play hours on end but I don't want my GPU to run this hot for hours and hours and hours. Are there any ways to lower the GPU load by atleast 20% or so?

About your temps, they are fine dont worry. GPUS can manage till 100C(though above 90C is deemed a bit unhealthy)

to reduce temps , get some extra fans , better ventilation , liq cooling if you really dont want those temps.

i dont think it will reduce your GPUS life noticeably if thats what you are worried about

Solution
So basically you want to run it at max settings, but also want to keep your GPU at super lower temp...

Honestly 72c is great temperatures for your card, like Vrumor said, that card can go up to 90 degrees. Dont worry too much.

If you really want to lower the load by another 20% you will have to turn down your settings or increase the cooling.

I ordered my card from the US while I live in EU so if it breaks I won't be able to change it since I got the card transported via "friends" so I'm guessing my warranty is invalid. But I guess I should stop worrying so much anyway.
Hope my temps aren't harmful in the long run.

mate ,my laptops gaming temp touches 80 , while my old desktops idle gpu is 60 C (my ambient is 40C, and the card , a 9500gt is almost 6yrs old i think, and still runs well)
