Is there a way to message a pc thats on the same network as you without 3rd party software?

What the title says, but i have tried old methods such as "net send" and "msg" in cmd but none of them seem to work on windows 10.

"net send" was a popular prank 15-20 years ago, and Microsoft have disabled it for good.
