My computer keeps giving me a black screen when i try to install its drivers so when i looked online, i found out that maybe my bios is outdated so i tried to update it. It is foxconn h61mx, so i found out that i can use foxlive updater i think.. then i downloaded a bios file called C12F1P04 and installed it but when i restart my pc ,it wont boot but fan just turn on for like half a second then turn off and turn on again repeatedly. I am really desperate now so is there a way to fix it or should i just buy a new motherboard?

Try manually resetting the motherboard BIOS to see if that will allow it to boot properly.

First, disconnect all power sources (power cable, video cable, and powered speakers).
Next, press the power button to discharge any residual power in the system (yep, I mean it).
Then, open the case and locate the motherboard battery. Remove it, noting which side goes "up". Wait 1 minute and re-insert it.
Reverse the previous steps and try powering on and accessing your BIOS.
