Hi.

I have been having issues with my PC and I basically stress tested all my components besides my HDD and SSD. I looked around google and there was this one program with a really vague explanation on the way it works, that ended up not working. So if you know of a way to stress test storage, please mention it :)

Thanks <3

for HDD's I use spinrite6 but its is expensive. its not a stress test so much as a full body scan of the drive. when run regularly (6 monthly or so) it can keep your drive and data alive.

there is a good video of the guy who wrote it explaining what is does and how it does it.

for SSD's crystaldisk is the go to for drive status and health.

benchmarking suites will test drives abilities and if they have slowed or are otherwise problematic.
check the cables, cables loosen and even can go bad over time.
