Is there a way to tweak wired connection ?

I have Arris sbg 6580, My ISP is spectrum, currently got 100Mb /10Mb plan and using cat6 Ethernet cable onto my ps4.i want more bandwidth onto the ps4 is this possible? don't care really about wireless devices what settings can I change to maximize speed to my ps4?

What speed are you getting? Remember that is the maximum speed you can achieve. If your PS4 is the only device connected Im not understanding your question?

NO, the router to PS4 if wired runs at the wire speed, it will obviously be faster from router to the net if the number of wireless devices using the internet is reduced.

Yes, nigel is right. You need to turn of the WiFi on as many devices as possible to boost wired LAN speed.

Too many devices all sharing the same network is bound to have an adverse effect on throughput per device, including the wired ones.

Some routers (the more expensive ones) can be tweaked to ensure you get the fastest speed possible over DSL, but you can't magically get more bandwidth than your ISP is providing.
