Hey guys,

I have a dilemma regarding a particular game and the hardware that it is required for it to run constantly at 60 fps without framedrops, on lower-medium settings with a screen resolution of 1920x1080.

The producer recommends:
Processor: Intel i5 Quad Core or higher / AMD Phenom II X6 or higher
Graphics: nVidia GeForce GTX 560 series or higher / AMD HD 6870 or higher

But asking the community the people say that I must have the current generation i5 and a minimum gtx1060 which is more than beyond compared to what the producer recommends

So that is why I am confused and I don't know where to gather info in order to find out what is the minimum hardware necessary in order to get the answers that I seek.

read the benchmarks for a game when it comes out, some popular games get it, but usually only games that are actually complete, i.e. early access games aren't worth benchmarking seriously because the results are very subject to change.

for example: http://www.techspot.com/review/1006-the-witcher-3-benchmarks/
