Is there an adapter that goes from PCI To Pci-e

ok so I have a dell optiplex GX520 it has no Pci-e slot. and also another worrie i have is i went to the dell web site and entered my service tag and it was showing me a toower that looks nothing like mine should i be worried?

Each optiplex model usually comes in 2 form factors, compact and tower. As for the PCI, the architecture is too different from what I understand. Not to mention PCI is WAY slower than PCI-E, so there is no point.

No way unfortunately the only way to do that would be to get a whole new rig.

ok so im wondering how hard would it be to upgrade the motherboard to something with pci-e slots?

It is so old, that it would be much better getting something new for cheap.
