Hey, i recently upgraded CPU and Motherboarad and ran into an issue where my slightly older M.2 Drive doesnt work in the 2 slots provided on the motherboard as it uses a SATA interface as apposed to the pcie 4x on current NvME M.2 drives.

I was wondering if there is any kind of adaptor that would let me use my drive still so i dont have to fork out for a new storage drive.

Your SATA M.2 drive apparently works in the M.2_1 port.

1 x M.2 Socket 3, with M key, type 2242/2260/2280 storage devices support (SATA & PCIE 3.0 x 4 mode)*2
1 x M.2 Socket 3, with M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 storage devices support (PCIE 3.0 x 4 mode)

Really? they way i read in the user guide is they were both for PCIe use only and even when trying in the bottom slot it gave me an error. My old Mobo had one specifically for M.2 SATA usage so i guess it threw me off but i will try it now!
