Recently my sata pins snapped off when i was switching my components to a new case. So im wondering is there any other way to connect a hard drive?

Solution
Molex only provides the power if your drive gets it that way. Still need a way to get the data off.

MIGHT be able to buy an IDENTICAL drive and swap the internal disks. I've read stories where people did this to get data back. Don't touch the disks and keep things as dust free as possible. But I'd try hooking up the leads first.
If I am reading into your question - you likely have data on the hard drive that you would really like to move to another hard drive.

Operationally - your hard drive is done for.

HOWEVER - if you are good at soldering - you could come up with a means to hard-wire the drive for data retrieval.

The follwing link should give you an idea of what you may need to do:

This requires a bit of patience - but it can make it so you can access your hard drive so you can transfer the data.

I don't think i would be able to do this. Are you sure there isn't a better way? Molux or something?
