Is there an app which does the job of Gadgets from Windows 7?

The gadgets from Windows 7 show a bunch of useful info on the desktop (OSD). Is there any app or something for Windows 8/8.1 which could be used like that. I found HardwareMonitor for displaying the temperatures of my hardware like CPU, GPU. Unfortunately, I am not able to display the performance, like how much load has currently been applied to my machine (usually in percentage). So, any application/software to do the job?

The gadgets were dropped in Win 8, and no simple replacement.

I can recommend CleanMem to show the RAM usage and monitor how much available RAM there is.

Yes, This app is good. But I still cannot find any for the CPU and GPU
