[SOLVED] Is there an issue with my monitor?

Hey all,

I have a dual monitor set up - both monitors are exactly the same (HP 24x).

Main monitor is connected with DisplayPort and the other is connected via HDMI.

The sound quality on the monitor connected with DP is much much better than the monitor connected with HDMI.

Is there something wrong with my monitor? Or is it just the way sound travels through HDMI?

Any suggestions or advice to fix this?

Have you tried swapping the inputs? change the HDMI on one for the DP on the other and test the sound on both. if the good could follows the cable connection, there you go.
if the good sound stays on the same monitor, there may be an audio/speaker issue on the other display.
