Question Is there an M.2 standoff that changes the thread size?

I have an MSI Z790-P WiFi DDR4 motherboard, and I just got a Sabrent P4 rocket with a heatsink to put in it. The screw however used to mount the SSD and heatsink is smaller than the hole in my motherboard where it should go. I have looked online and apparently there are 2 sizes of screw for M.2 drives, are there any standoffs I can use that change the thread size so I can use the screw that came with the heatsink in my motherboard? I looked online but couldn't find any, any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

The board you have actually has clips or more like standoffs that go into the board and the other end is a reusable latch/clip. Please refer to page 29~31 in your motherboard manual. You could include images for the standoffs and the SSD to help add context.

Yes, it does come with M.2 clips, that happily screw into the motherboard, but they will not work for the heatsink that comes with the drive.
