I'm using MSI afterburner to increase GPU's fan speed, currently at %60 and seems like it helped a bit for games like Witcher 3, The Division 2 basically resource heavy games. However is there any side effects for it? Like fan lifespan etc, do fans have a lifespan? is that makes sense at all? I'm planning to use it at %60 until summer ends. Thank you

Solution
Technically yes, faster speeds usually means more wear (for example the bearing(s)).
Outside of that, increased noise is the next issue.

But in reality, unless you're running them at 100% all the time, you're more likely to need a new GPU before the fans fail for operating within standard range. So I wouldn't worry.
