They are essentially the same sticks of ram, underneath

Aesthetics re the only thing setting them apart and by that you'll also see that the height of the sticks are also a little different + the operating temperatures are also different.

Also looked into it, and yes, they have the exact same specs. The only difference is that one has RGB. The only other difference is release dates. The RGB-less kit was released just over 3 years before the RGB kit.
