Is there any other way to get sound?

I just built a new pc.. and I have to install the audio driver by rebooting it 2 times. Not only that, every time I reboot it the setup starts all over again. Is there another way I can put sound on my pc? Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question.

Seems like you have a problem with Windows and the driver not installing. Are you running a fresh installation of Windows, you didn't swap Windows from another pc?
