Is there any real noticable difference in GTX 970 FTW vs stock settings ?

Just wondering if I should spend the 40 extra dollars to get the FTW edition or just go with one with stock settings.

Looking at EVGA.

for what's it worth, no. The stock can be easily overclocked like crazy and still maintain good temps.

I would spend the extra for a factory guaranteed and supported overclock and forget about it.

The superclock has a boost of 1317 vs. the FTW which is 1367.

Split the difference and get the superclock version
