Is there any software to share my internet and set a speed limit?

is there any software to share my internet through wifi and set a speed limit so that whoever connected to my WiFi can not use ultimate speed
any help will be much appreciated.

the only way for "software" to do that would be in the router itself.

Edit: there is a way around this but would require all wifi devices connected to be PC's but this is not the case in most situations. Then you may be able to find software that will work the way you want. Each device would need the program so hopefully you can see the issue. The wireless router is where it needs to limited.

I agree with bgunner, do it at the router. Most routers don't have this feature though. You should use the TomatoUSB firmware. DD-WRT can do it, but I think you might need to pay for that feature. It is included in TomatoUSB for free.

now i share my internet with speed limits
in case someone wants to know how, first i share my internet through wifi using "connectify HotspotLite free version", and then using "NetLimiter"software to limit the "thrugoing" 😛
