Is there any way I can play The Witcher 3?

Just bought the game on steam and it does't work,more than 25 fps at least.I saw the sys req in advance yes,but I had the same thing with AC:BF.Sys req lab said I couldn't play it even as minimum,and I could play it at ultra high.So I expected the Witcher to work(at least 30 constantly).I could refund it,but the game is so overrated I must play it somehow,to live that experience that everyone is talking about.Here are my specs
W10,Nvidia GeForce 940M(2gb),Intel i7 5500U and 8GB RAM.My rig is a laptop,if it were not I wouldn't seek help from you and I would upgrade it.Please help me.

Turn off Hairworks, borderless window, and majority of the settings to low. It doesn't look bad at low settings.

20-25 fps is not bad at all for your specs for Witcher 3. Your system is about in the middle range of the AC Black Flag ratings, it should have played that game fine although at ultra I doubt you would be running it very smoothly unless you are at 720p resolutions.

Your GPU is weak, 25-30FPS is the max FPS you can get and that's at everything on minimum and resolution at 1024x768. It's just that the GPU is really bad for games like this.
