[SOLVED] Is there any way to eliminate "air noise" on new headphones

So i got some cheap sony headphones. The sound quality is great for the price but there's a slight problem. I don't know why but the ear cups are built in a way that create the same sound you get when you cover your ears using your hands, or a cup. I don't know how to describe it and it surely isn't a software problem, since it happens even when they're not plugged in. I'd say i have normal ears. I've never had this weird problem with other cheap headphones. I can probably get used to it but still it's pretty annoying and it's not that noticeable when there's sound coming out of the headphones.

you could try adding or removing padding i guess, but there probably isn't much you can do since its caused by the shape of the headphones.
