[SOLVED] Is there any way to fix an I think broken hard drive?

So I found this old 500 GB Seagate Barracuda on a small box in my cabinet so I tried it on my PC and see if it works. After powering up the PC with my SSD, I heard a very weak patterned beeping sound from the old HDD and it stop a few seconds after reaching the desktop screen. Also my pc isn't detecting the HDD and I wasn't able to count how many beeps it made. But yeah is there anyways to fix it? Would be a waste of 500 GB.

if it is not even being detected within the PC's BIOS, and you have known good SATA data nd PWR cables connected, I'd say it's about done for.

Thanks For the response! Even though the HDD isn't fixed at least I know that it's time for it to rest.
