I've been having this issue in where I have to wait almost 2 minutes and sometimes even longer on end to load in:

PC Specs:

CPU: E3 1270 v1
GPU: MSI GTX 970 4GB
RAM: 16GB DDR3
SSD: SILICON POWER 256GB (AHCI MODE) - CS:GO is on this drive

My launch options are -

-novid
-d3d9ex

Is it just one game or other's too? I haven't played csgo but if it's like the original, can you create your own lan game and see if loading into a map is just as slow? To rule out internet being the problem?

If csgo is still slow loading into a map in a lan game and other games are slow then it may be the ssd or condition of Windows.

Which Windows are you running? How much space is left on the ssd and what are cpu temps like?

Only CS:GO, I haven't tried the lan game.

I'm using Windows 10, there's 70GB of storage left, and cpu temps reach about 70 degrees under load.

I'll give more info when I try my own server, but I can't currently.

In that case, do you have a spare hdd to test a fresh Windows install on?

Other things to look at and try is uncheck startup items in task manager to narrow down possible culprits. If you have 3rd party antivirus software, check it's settings for anything game related enhancements or other tweaks they sometimes offer without you knowing.

I have a 1TB HDD which I store all my other big games on, all things in task manager except my mouse software is disabled, I have no antivirus software, disabled it all, only have Windows firewall, not defender. I enabled Trim for my SSD, and my boot times are about 15 seconds, I hear +cl_forcepreload 1 helps load in faster as it loads in the maps before you actually load in a match. I have that option enabled, I also have multicore rendering enabled along with Boost Player Contrast enabled, everything else is at low or disabled.
