Is there any way to make windows stay where they are?

Like when I am dragging a file. How do you make the windows stay in the same order? Cus right now when I try to drag a file the window I am dragging from pops up on top of the window I am dragging to... and it's very annoying.

That's how it's designed to work.
You can resize the windows, so they don't overlap.

Before 'dragging and dropping' ... right click on task bar and select 'show windows side by side'.

JUst resize the windows so that it doesnt overlaps and try to keep it side to side !

You just need more screen real estate.

Well you can also get two monitors if this problem is really anoying you . Multi monitor is a really good solution and will also somehow benefit you in the future !

Yes, that's why you should 'right click' on the taskbar and select "Show windows side by side'. Windows will resize them for you ... simple!

You can snap windows to the corners in win 10.
