Is there any way to plug in a flex ribbon cable into a PC?

So I found a little android netbook lying around and thought it would be cool to take it apart and see what was inside, I was thinking I could maybe take the 10in screen off of it and hook it up to my PC and somehow and have a tiny secondary display to display stats in games or something. Well the display is connected by a flex ribbon cable (the model is 20624 80c 60v VW-1) and I was just wondering if there was like an adapter that I could buy and plug into my PC that would allow me to connect it.

sounds like your in for an interesting project
lcd screens on netbooks, from what i just looked up, us a lvds connector, basically you have to create your own custom hookup to get it to work as an external display. i dont think there is a adapter per se you can buy you have to create it yourself. here is some links read up on it. give you a little insight

Ok thanks, I've been trying to find a LCD model number so I see if they make a controller for it, but it doesn't have one on it. :/
