Question Is there any way to turn on an Aspire 5 Laptop without the power button?

I have an Aspire 5 a515-51G Laptop, and the power button has recently stopped working. Im almost certain it is the power button specifically as before the power button completely died, you had to press it in a certain way, along with a few other keys working similarly.

Any help or insight to either ways to turn the laptop on, or what the problem is and any potential fixes would be much appreciated.

Acers are pretty notorious for the keyboard no longer responding, and the first thing to try is the reset procedure in the manual (unplug from wall, reset with straightened paperclip in the pinhole under the laptop for 10 seconds). If that fails, installing a new keyboard is the usual next option--they are model-specific but normally not very expensive.

There are many ways to wake a sleeping laptop without the power button, but they generally require you to get into the BIOS or Windows first to set it up.
