Is there anything I can improve on with this build or is it perfect?

The reason I don’t have a GPU in the list is because I’m waiting for the GTX 1100 series to come out, my budget for my GPU will be £600 so hopefully I can buy myself a NVIDIA GTX 1180 when it comes out.

Apart from the GPU and OS is there anything else I need to buy such as certain cables, thermal paste and such? If so could you add them to my built, I’m deciding whether I wanna risk building it myself or take it to a shop and get them to build it for me.

Maybe, launch price for FE GTX1080 was $100 more than MSRP, but you can usually drop about £100 off a US price to get close.

The paste the noctua comes with should be fine. Motherboard should come with all necessary cables. Anything after that would be cosmetic.

You could probably go with a smaller, higher quality PSU like so: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/hWs8TW/evga-b3-550w-80-bronze-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-220-b3-0550-v1

Or go for gold efficiency. Usually run a little quieter since they don't get as warm.

For your build as you have it the only extra cable you will need is 1 more SATA cable.

I would get a better motherboard and power supply, different cooler, memory, and drive. I really dislike Seagate products and you can add another drive when needed.

The new cards when released will be 20xx cards not 11xx.

You can get a GTX 1080 right now with your budget.

You sure you need a disc player in 2018????

Get the power supply I listed also much better quality.

MERGED QUESTION
Question from benjaminisaacs95 : "Are they components compatible? Will they all fit in the motherboard and case?"

Seems a bit like my build, and I have RM 750i , doesnt hurt you to get a good PSU so just go with it. And that case is full tower, you can fit anything you like in it basically
