Is there anyway to reduce bottleneck?

I have a amd fx-6100 and an xfx r9 280x dd black oc edition and its bottlenecking i am currently saving up for a new cpu but in the time being is there anyway to reduce it in games i have 100% cpu usage and 50-60% gpu usage so i know its bottlenecking i have already overclocked my cpu to 4ghz is there a way to possibly limit cpu usage or any other ways to reduce the bottleneck?

you would have to OC your CPU further to reduce the bottleneck.

i haven't seen any decrease in bottleneck when oc'ing from 3.3ghz (stock) to 4.0ghz would oc'ing to lets say 4.2ghz make much differance

it should make a marginal difference but when we talk about bottlenecks we're referring to the limitations of your hardware, and the best way to get rid of the bottleneck is to upgrade...

kk i'll see if it makes a differance but as i said i am currently saving up for new hardware 😀
