Is there anywhere I can get free recovery discs for my Gateway ZX6970 running Windows 7?

Go download a standalone copy of Windows 7 of which ever version your using. I believe you can get a copy off Microsoft 's website. If not use a torrent. You should have the cd key on your desktop so it is not illegal.

It's also better than the recovery disc because you don't get the bloatware. But if you need some of what's on the disc go to your manufacturers website
