I have 2 780s sli and was thinking if i should upgrade to 3 x 780s or get 2 780 ti's instead?? Would 3 780's have more latency or would it just be better to get 2 708 ti's. I want the best advantage i can get for games!!

Synthetic benchmarks put 3x780 above 2x780ti but in most games 2x780ti and 3x780 will give you roughly the same framerates. I'd be inclined to just go with another 780 and save yourself the $1000+.

But if you are rolling in it and can't spend your money fast enough then there are advantages of picking the 2x780ti: less power draw, better heat management (and thus maybe more OC ability), and the option to get a third 780ti later on if you want to.
Are you playing in triple surround or at 4K? If not, then why would u possibly want more than two 780s? I can't think of a single game that is already released or going to be released within the next 6 months in which two 780s couldn't push out a minimum of 60 FPS in 1080p.

That being said, adding a third card in SLI won't increase latency. But the performance scaling on the third card isn't as good as the second card.

No om not playing on 4 k or surround but i love high fps i have 144 hz monitors and want to take full advantage of every frame i can get. Was mostly wondering if you get more latency with more gpu's which you answered 4 me so thank you for that and i will pick you for my solution.. But one more question what would you do 2 780ti or 3 780 all oc'd of course in which case im pretty sure the 780ti's overclock better but will cost me 1700$ where as buying one more 780 will cost only 670$ but wont scale well...What do you think???
