Is there software or a website that could check my PC components against new ones for compatibility?

I am thinking about upgrading my custom built PC. However, I'm having trouble figuring out whether or not some newer components are compatible with my current build, etc. Is there any software that would help with this. I tried building a PC from scratch on http://www.pc-specs.com but I find the website very frustrating. It doesn't even list my motherboard, which is the ASUS uATX X99-M WS. If you know of any other websites that might be helpful, please let me know. Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Pcpartpicker is pretty good but not 100% correct. Ask here when you decide on your upgrades
