Is there two models of the same cpu?

I was looking and there seemed to be 2 models of the i7 4790k
Note: one has a black patch at the top
Is this just different packaging? Will it affect anything on the processor?

Mine two i7-4790K are the top image, the top patch just a clear plastic to show the CPU chip
.The second image may be just a promotional CG image of the box of i7?

That black patch is shadowed, it's a clear clamshell pack with the cpu inside it so you can view it. Also helps people to be able to id the actual chip for themselves (in case they're looking for a specific model, bin number etc) without having to open the package. The rest of the box contains the stock heatsink/fan.
