Is there way to controll cm masterfan pro 140 with software?

Hello, i would like to add 1 case fan for now. I want 4 rgb fans, but currently i can afford only 1. I would like to buy COOLERMASTER MasterFan Pro 140 Air Flow RGB and i want to know can i controll rgb lighting on this with software without any controller. For about one month, i will buy pack of 3 cm rgb fans(same as the one above) and i will have controller but for now i need other way to do it. b350-f strix, r5 1600 nzxt s340.

If you flip the switch on fan to "RGB" and connect the fan RGB wire to your MoBo RGB header then you can control fan's LEDs via Aura Sync software.

Hmm, looks like it will work, but my mobo isnt listed on cm website. Only high end mobo are listed. How can i be sure it will work?

My guess is that Cooler Master hasn't updated their specs page with latest MoBos.

If you look closely, most MoBos listed there are Intel 200 series. With some Intel 100 series, plenty of Intel X99/X299 chipset MoBos and few AMD X370/B350 chipset MoBos. There are 0 instances of Intel 300 series MoBos.

Also, that list contains "recommended" MoBos which Cooler Master, most likely, have tested by themselves. Just because, e.g Z370 chipset MoBo isn't in the list doesn't mean it doesn't work with the fan.
