Is there WiFi on my Dell Inspiron 2500?

I have had given to me and old Dell Inspiron 2500 laptop it has Windows XP and a Pentium lll processor. Where and if so is the wifi button or at least is there WiFi capability?

I doubt it but even if it does the wifi cards from 15 yrs ago did not support the newer encryption standards. You would likely not be able to connect to your network....well you could if you make it insecure by using WEP. Even if the card was newer windows xp needed a large patch to support the newer cards. I do not think you can get the patch if it is not already installed since microsoft stopped supporting xp years ago.

Just get a usb wifi dongle.
