Is thermal paste safe to touch?

On the CPU thermal paste is on the heat sink out of the box but is it safe to have contact with the paste?

yes if it touches you, you'll be fine. I fix 360/ps3's all day long and am covered in thermal paste by the end of the day and I'm still alive.

It is safe to touch it. But touching it will make it stick to your hand, so make sure you wash your hands before you eat anything.
