I am going to be building a new gaming pc soon and i was curious, will I have enough space?
I want to do youtube and game on same pc, can a 500gb ssd hold around 10 high graphics performing games with dxtroty, latest photoshop, windows 8, and sony vegas. For recording videos to I am getting a 1tb WD velicoraptor. Please help :) Also its late where I live and if I don't respond quickly I apologize.

Yes. I can tell from experience I have a one tb hdd and that holds 12 games, photoshop, dxtory, Sony Vegas pro, and several gaming engines and still have plenty of space. I have a hard drive just for dxtory recordings and write speed is very important for game play recordings. You combination of hard drives are better than mines should you should be more than fine. I am running Windows 8.1 as well.

So I will be able to have windows, photoshop, sony vegas, and 10+ games on steam? If its too small I need to know for sure because I don't want to have to upgrade to soon.

I'd suggest you be smart about what games to put on ssd and what games to put on HDD. Not all games benefit from ssd. And some benefit so little they can stand to be on HDD. For instance, a game like league of legends does not need to be on ssd, because even if you finish loading, the other players are still loading, the game will not start anyway. etc...

If possible get a 2 terra byte disk. You'll already be hookign 2 disks to your machine, you might find your case low on space if you ever need even more, so best make sure you have your fill. Between 1 and 2 terra bytes should not be a great cost difference, and it is negligible compared to a 500 GB ssd. But yeah 1 terrabyte and 500 GB ssd you should be fine...

It would still be enough to handle those with still some extra space. Good Luck
