Is this 5v or 12v Molex?

So, I have seen numerous diagrams on the web and some show the pins on the left, some on the right.... I'm hoping someone will know definitively what the voltage is expected to be on this unit. It's ostensibly designed for servicing fans, so I would expect 12v, but....

Anyhow, assuming the top side to be the end with the corners cut off, the two pins are on the far right of the cable. The actual colours of the cable are black on ground and red on the other one.

Therein lies my confusion. If the FLAT SIDE is facing UPWARD, numbering slots 1-4 from left to right, I have:

1. Red
2. Ground
3. Empty
4. Empty

Can someone please just tell me explicitly what that'd mean? I'm a bit of a troglodyte... I'm just coming off a cold and the congestion is not doing anything for my thought process.

That's dumb. The fans will probably move slower...

Oh well. Turns out I don't really need it as some fans I got came with proper molex-3pin cables which I have repurposed.

If red wire was plugged into where the yellow wire is then that would make it 12v
