Is this 650W good enough for R9 390+i7 6700K?

is the Antec 650W Active PFC Modular 80+ Gold EDG650 PSU good enough?
Not planning to OC.
I read somewhere that AMD recommended 750w minimum but I can't find that on the AMD website.

MSi states that the r9 390 consumes 275W, yet they say it requires 750W psu, which is total nonsense. The GPU requires 275W and that is only under full load , 6700k requires 91W, combine that will all the fans and hdds and etc and even then, you won't go past the 600W mark, so your PSU is good enough.

Card requires 275W max, PSU can deliver 550W via 12V rail.
Theoretically it should be possible to use it.

But then again it's way below recommendation.
Anyway - that Antec PSU has all the necessary protections built in. If it can't deliver necessary power it'll just shut down.

This system requires minimum 43A or 516W on the +12V rails.
This PSU is rated at 648W on the +12V rails.
The PSU looks like reasonable quality, being Antec and gold rated.
It should be fine. I would read detailed reviews on the PSU if I were buying it.
