Question Is this a 2 or a 2.5 slot graphics card?

Will I be able to use the bottom slot for my Sound Blaster Z on a MSI B450M Gaming Plus?

Never heard of 2.5 slot graphic card? it's probably 2 and you should be able to use the last slot for your sound card, the one before will probably be covered by the GPU.

or could be really close to it which will give bad airflow for the fan/fans.

It's just one fan and it barely moves above 50% during heavy gaming and with an aggressive curve. It runs very cool. If it does get obstructed, it would only be by half from what I can tell.

It'll work just fine, you could use the last slot in your motherboard for the sound card, having a card close to the GPU fan is not always a good idea as heat could ruin the sound card overtime.

It seems as if it would actually cool the sound card, how do you figure it would heat it up? The only problem I can see is GPU fan obstruction. Thanks for the replies.
