Question Is this a bad sign that my CPU and GPU got corrupted in some way?

I can no longer see additional metrics for my CPU and GPU in AMD Adrenalin software besides the utilization and current temperature after reinstalling Windows and facing BSODS caused by a bad BIOS update from MSI.To give full context when I first installed Windows on my brand new PC I was able to see all the metrics such as the clock speed and consumption. After reinstalling Windows I can only see the current temperature and utilization on the screen. After this I tried uninstalling the AMD drivers but this caused me to face numerous BSODs, to the point where I had to reinstall windows again. After many issues trying to reinstall Windows again I was finally able to do it successfully but I still have the same issues. I made sure to use the full install. I know I have it because I heard that the minimal install doesn't even have an option for recording, so I know I have to have it. When I go in the tuning settings I can see some of the options, but not all of them. I never went to tuning so I don't know how it's supposed to look like. I can see the clock speed voltage and power consumption, but not the electrical current. I even took out my GPU and installed it in another computer on a different motherboard, and when I install AMD adrenaline software the same result happens with that GPU. I don't know how to bring it back to how it used to be. Can someone please give me some advice on how to restore it back to how it used to be? Here are visual references to what I'm talking about. The first photo is how it used to show up, The second photo is how it is now, and the third photo is when I go into tuning instead of metrics. View: https://imgur.com/a/ObPGfS0

I've never had a bad BIOS update thank goodness, but I'm surprised you managed to recover your system after the first incident. I know some motherboards have a second (backup) BIOS chip, in case the first BIOS chip fails. I've heard tales that failed BIOS updates can "brick" the mobo.

The fact you can boot into Windows is good, but the lack of data in some fields indicates certain monitoring functions (sensors?) are no longer working.

I haven't used AMD Adrenalin to do anything more than control the power level of my GPU, but I'll boot up my new system later on today and experiment.

Until then, have you tried any other software to monitor CPU voltages, currents and power levels, e.g. Aid64, HWiNFO, CPUID HWMonitor, CPU-Z, etc.

They may give boring figures instead of pretty real-time graphs, but they might allow you to determine if the BIOS/OS/drivers are reading data from the sensors or not working correctly.

I had some trouble after uninstalling Armoury Crate (I can't remember what) so I reinstalled it and the problems went away. It was quicker than reinstalling Windows.
