....Or are the other managers just being tw*ts?

Just got FM2005 and installed the new patch before starting a game.

I have some dead weight players that I've been offering to other clubs
for free, but with a 50% sell-on clause.

When they come back and make their offers, however, they neglect to
include the sell-on clause. So I negotiate the offer and reinsert that
clause, but when their final offer comes back they've scrapped the sell-
on clause again.

It's so consistent, it must be a bug, right? Or are they all really
being cheap bastards?

My guess is the second.I've cashed sell-on clauses in the game.

i doubt many managers anywhere would agree to a 50% sell on clause,
frankly.

think its more you being a bit silly with your expectations than them
being cheap.

I've sold some players with sell on clause, and it works, even on delayed
payments;

add 'not negotiable offer' and try, I dont have problems with adding 50% to
0 transfer fee

What is this 'not negotiable offer' that you talk of? I have never seen
this in FM before.

it's where transfer type is - loan/transter/first option and deadlines
